Forming part of the Chem Chem portfolio, Forest camp offers amazing safari experiences in a private concession. Activities include game drives, night game drives, hot-air ballooning, tracking wildlife on foot, roaming with big tuskers (elephants) and bush walks with the famed Maasai.

The accommodations at Forest Chem Chem consists of four luxury vintage-style tents, including one large family suite, and the lodge’s maximum capacity is eight adults and two children. Each tent is ensuite and features double or twin beds, a private deck, indoor and outdoor showers, dressing area with vanity, fans, mosquito nets, butler service, and a small selection of gym equipment. Following the communal area’s lead, the feel throughout all the tents is classic safari made subtly luxurious with high-quality bedlinens, thoughtful furnishings and touches of style that elevate the entire experience.

The camp consists of three canvas sleeping tents and a main mess area with a lounge, bar and dining area featuring comfortable wooden furniture and plenty of local colour in the form of rugs, textiles, cushions and throws. The outside area includes a terrace with outdoor seating around a fire pit, as well as a dining table and double swing bed. WiFi can be accessed throughout the site, and a limited daily laundry service is available.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed under-canvas in the dining tent or in the outdoor dining area – which is perfect for meals beneath an ancient, lantern-lit baobab and a canopy of stars. Forest Chem Chem is an exclusive-use only camp with 4 luxury tents (one of which is a family suite) that accommodates 8 adults and 2 children. Each under-canvas suite seamlessly blends classic safari elements with modern comforts and convenience. Tents are furnished with mosquito nets, feature indoor and outdoor showers, twin vanity and a writing desk, as well as a swinging daybed that’s perfect for a daytime nap or relaxing with a good book and drink.
