Kicheche Bush Camp is a perfect hideaway in the outstanding wilderness of Olare Motorogi Conservancy. Kicheche Bush camp has attracted scores of professional photographers who trust the Kicheche approach to a day on safari. That has created an exciting environment where any amateur photographer can raise their game and capture the sorts of images that inspired them in the first place.
Access to Kicheche Bush Camp from Olare Orok airstrip is 15 minutes game drive away. Six spacious luxury tents, fully insect-proof, with en-suite bathrooms and a flushing toilet, running cold water and hot safari showers. Solar power is provided 24 hours to your tent and the comfortable verandah chairs are perfect to relax in and offer great views over the game-filled plains. One tent can be converted into a triple on request.There is a well furnished lounge and dining tent, although mealtimes are generally alfresco if weather permits.
At Kicheche Bush Camp
Kicheche Bush Camp is a small, classic, intimate, luxury tented camp completely unfenced, accomodating a maximum of twelve guests.
The camp has six spacious, insect-proof custom designed tents, equipped with twin or double beds, linen, bedside tables, luggage racks and rugs. The bathrooms are en-suite and are equipped with a dresser, flushing toilet and a traditional safari bucket shower with a view.One tent can be converted into a triple on request.
There is a variety of African and international dishes and special dietary requirements can be catered for. The camp lends itself to communal dining with your hosts, although private dining can also be arranged.

VIsitors can visit the MAA TRUST in Olare Motorogi Conservancy, a great project Kicheche Community Trust supports with focus on women empowerment and education. Only 10 minutes from camp, visiting the Maa Trust is a wonderful opportunity for guests to interact with Maasai women, watch and learn about their bead-work and learn more about The Trust’s efforts towards conservation through sustainable community development.

Watching wildlife at close range, but without encroaching on their space, is endlessly fascinating and our guides’ instincts and experience will provide superb photo opportunities of wild animals. Extended game drives – we do not impose limits on the length
- Flycamp: one night out in the wilderness either as a journey towards Kicheche Valley camp or on its own. The Mara Wilderness package can be done by foot across the Mara or even on horseback.
